Commitment to Quality

In 2008, Blackton Flooring, Inc. successfully completed the National Housing Quality Certified Trade ContractorProgram offered by the
National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center and became a NHQ Certified Trade Contractor. Certification represents a trade contractor's ongoing commitment to continual process improvement and customer satisfaction. Although our certification expired in January of 2010, Blackton continues to adhere to all of the successful quality systems put in place. Every day we work towards our goal to once again achieve certification.

Quality Statement

It is the goal of Blackton to provide all customers with the highest quality of products and services. In order to do this, we have implemented quality systems that are continually being improved to satisfy our customer's needs. Blackton Inc. and Blackton Flooring strive to ensure that all stages of a job, from the administrative preparation to the installation, are subject to our highest standards of quality. We are committed to effective quality management at every level within our business. All employees and subcontractors follow procedures which define their responsibilities and provide guidance on achieving standards.

Blackton is committed to achieving these quality assurance objectives on a daily basis:

  • Employee and subcontractor responsibilities are clearly defined

  • Training is provided to ensure staff is qualified and prepared

  • Inspections and audits are performed to ensure standards are maintained and opportunities for improvements are sought
