Who we are
Blackton is a family owned corporation that has been serving the Central Florida area since April of 1954.
Charles Blackton started the company by making roofing sales calls to customers, then delivering the materials ordered, the next day. He had one warehouse employee who unloaded freight cars, one billing clerk, and one manager. The entire company was housed in a small warehouse.
Honoring the Past
Blackton has not forgotten its humble beginnings. We are proud that our very first warehouse employee, hired back in 1954, still works for the company today.

Who are we now?
That small warehouse, where our company made its
beginning, is now a fraction of the space in which
Blackton now operates.
Our company may have grown, but our goals are the same; to provide outstanding quality, service, and performance to our customers.
Blackton now occupies locations in both Orlando and Poinciana. The Orlando location encompasses warehouses and offices equal to one city block and the Poinciana location consists of a 100,000 square foot
warehouse.
